So in Korea, that "let it go" song from frozen- is everywhere!! on the radio and all, so i figured it needed to be shared.
So this week, has a lot worth sharring. on Monday, we all headed out to a public bath house and up untill we got there elder Munk, had no idea what a public bath house was in Korean. So we told him that it was a gaming place that had super old games that missionaries could play... and he believed it. All the way up until he walked and saw an old man struttin his stuff all naked like. He was a good sport and he really wanted to go anyway but he was just bumbed that there was no place for us to go play games^^ After that we went to F.H.E on the Base and had a good night, one of the members took us out to eat and we ended up giving him a much needed blessing that he requested.
This week we have been wrapped up with our investigator, Tina. I believe i have mentioned her before to you all but just incase, She was left in Korea by her husband (she is Korea, he is not) who is a member(she is not a member) and she came to the church for help and we did all we could but she is stuck here in Korea, and her kids are in America. They all moved out, but she is just here by herself and living with her parents. So she came to us we contacted her husbands bishop and his bishop talked with him. However after all of everything he is still stupid and now we are trying to keep Tina from drinking herself silly. She told us she was going to drink and we advised against it, but in the end she called me drunk...was sad. So we are calling every now and then to make sure she is ok. and thats kinda all we can do. She is not too interested in learning about the Gosple so we can't do more than that. We did go get some dinner and we are trying to do that so she can start feeling like people care for her.
I taught District meeting this week...did i tell you i am district leader, i have been for this transfer, my bad. But i taught about strengthening our testimonies and i thought it went well. After that we ran up to meet with some American members for dinner, they fed us Brekfast for dinner!!! SO YUMMY!!! All kinds of sugar^^
Then the next day we helped some members who where moving by cleaning there backyard. It took about all four elders to clean it up in an hour! It was super fun and we built some relations for the last time with that family it was really fun just doing work!
On Saturday we had a crazy day! for lunch we met a referral at the Mac Shack for 2 hours because he talked forever! He had some cool stories but he had almost no interest, but agreed to take the lessons. Then right after all of us elders ran to the church to meet with another investigator that has been around for awhile but has never really been taught, so we met and intro-ed our selves and she agreed and was eager to learn more about the church.Super big blessing! Then right after that we met with the bishop and the ward mission leader for the Korean ward and we had an awesome meeting with them and all the missionaries in the area! LOVED IT! and at the end of the meeting we all ate a fantastic meal with them and everyone made me finish it all, out table did a good job, but bishop kept loading us up^^ and so i was spent at the end of that^^
