That is all!
Well family as you can see, i have gone absolutely nuts!
This week was all kinds of crazy, So as you know Transfers happened and so elder Flinders was getting ready to move out during the beginning of the week and we where all over the place saying goodbyesㅠㅠ Luckily on Monday we all went hiking with a recent convert Pahk hee Jung and Tina, It was awesome! Tina had a good time and we all "hiked"(was more of a walk) up a mountain around these parts. At the end of the trail there was a restaurant where we all ate some duck! Yummy and Greasy! Then hiked out with Tina and the other Elders!! After that we invited Tina to FHE that night and she accepted and came with us, to go bowling with us on base with the members! They all did a great job fellow shipping, and she had a fun time playing...I bowled a turkey! So take that Mr. So and so in P.E. class that thought i sucked at bowling... and then we all went home after, and started to close out the day when Tina called and she told us that she had a great time and also that she felt different when she was with all us "Mormons" and she said "she wants to learn a little more about us" WHOOOOO that's what i have been waiting for for 3 months man!! Super awesome! i bounced of walls when i herd that!!
On Tuesday, we had to send off Flinders's junk to his new house and we went around saying goodbyes to everyone^^ We had a last American meal with the Ridings for elder Flinders. Before that we visited sister Maxwell she gives free haircuts to the missionaries so all four of us went, while the other elders got cuts i played with her daughter Liz, who is about 10ish and we finished the meeting off with a song(Jo smiths first prayer to come thou fount) for her and then we bounced. Latter that night elder Flinders and i visited a potential Gator that we have been seeing for a while, and he said goodbye to her and i promised to meet again.
Wednesday came around and i switched off Flinders with my new comp, Elder Woltjen...he is...different but we are trying to make things work...i guess.
Then On Thurdsay we tried doing some street boarding, but the board would not stay up due to heavy winds and after 30 minutes all the missionaries had to leave, so it was ok! then we had Korean class and we had more folks show up(all members but still more people) and we had a good time teaching them how to read and write and say the churches name in Korean.
Firday! was Tina's birthday so we took her out to a members house, the Boggs and they where more than happy to welcome her and they did an amazing job fellow shipping! Love them tons! and not only that but me and their little boy sage had some fun together, he is a ball of energy that's for sure. And again Tina said she felt great after that. Then immediately we went back to the apartments and taught a lesson with the other elders to their investigator Julie! she is awesome and is getting baptized here soon! and the lesson was awesome!
Saturday was NUTS!! from 11am-9pm we had appointments!
11-1:30: we helped set up for a part member family's daughters birthday party. The best family ever and the husband is practically a member. The family is so flipping spiritual and she cooks the best kinds of Mexican foods, and taught me how to do the same!
2-4pm: Baptism at the church for a American members child, we showed up to fill the font and great everyone, then they had us share a missionary moment while waiting for them to change...I have never been asked to do that on my mission...I was confused on what a missionary moment meant, so i just talked about baptism and the restoration, and had my new companion recite the first vision in English then finished the talk. it was a great ceremony!
4-5pm: Ran back to birthday party, helped with the pinata and eating food and talking to non-members there...got a investigator!!
5-6pm: Travel to the other side of our area
6-7: Attend a wedding on the other side of our area, at our other branch. It was a great wedding and the couple was adorable...marriage trunky eh?
7-8pm: Travel back to our other church
8-9pm: wait for investigator that didnt showㅠㅠ
9-10pm: Had a long talk with Tina on the phone
10:30pm: passed out!
After recovering from a black out i went to church (seeing that it was Sunday), and attended 7 hours of church like normal. We had a great time and we set up all kinds of appointment to meet with members, good busy-ish day! Then we went over to American members the Jacobs's house for dinner and i got drafted into the elven army by the son so we could fight Morodor. Then we booked it to a Korean members families house where they fed us more food and we had a great talk about missionary work and the Ward.
Well that was the week for good' ol elder Sanderson
I love you all, keep the faith, and may the force be with you.
