Hi!!!!
Thanks y'all for the Birthday wishes it was a crazy one for sure!
So this week Is never normal just like them all^^
On Monday ( I don't know if you have seen the pictures or not) I was able to meet up with an old high school friend out on the mission it was crazy cool to see her and we had a fun time. We just ate dinner with us three, and we talked a little about missionaries,church and other things. It was a cool thing to see how people change over years. That also made me think...i am old!!!
Then on Tuesday we got some terrifying news about elder Roberson, Because he went rock kicking in the MTC and he did something to his tow the doctors where thinking of taking him out of the mission completely and there reasoning was..."he is fat". You would think this is news to Elder Roberson but he for sure has been told by more than 5 random people on the street that he is fat. That's just how Koreans do it here. They see something they don't like and they let you know right away. He has been told "loose weight", why are you so fat?", and "WORK OUT" all by different classes of people^^ So from that point on we have been doing a... SUPER DIET
trying to flush out everything so he can stay on his mission^^ I have gotten really good at making soups. Just carrots, cucumber, mushrooms and water with some soup flavoring. Its doing quite well. The only problem with this diet is, that our house is completely full of food now. Our members have been giving us things(that we are super grateful for) and we went Shopping the day before.So we have a tone of food! So he has been hating the diet for awhile^^
With our investigators we haven't be able to find any this week, in fact i called all of the people we met last week to verify our appointments and they all just said "they would call me latter". Grrrrr
Also we still have people trying to run in and out of our house to try and sell it while we are doing work. So we have stopped them from coming this past week so we could get work done.
Also this week i went on quick splits with the District Leader's Korean greenie and we went all the way out to headquarters(2 hours away), So me and him could work on some stuff there. On our way there brother Hahn called and he wanted to meet that day because i was a Korean Holiday. I told him we could only meet him after we got back to our area from headquarters. So he quikily said "OK" and the next thing you know he is taking us to a flower festival in my area that i had no idea existed... We where there for an hour and for the entire hour we tried to teach him how to say "Chrysanthemum" He just couldn't get it^^ Afterwords me and Elder Roberson hated the word^^
Then we waited 2 hours in a line just to get on a bus to go homeㅡㅡ We where not digging that line AT ALL^^ Then brother Hahn took us to go eat dinner at a good potato/cow spine soup, there Brother Hahn insisted on the fact that Elder Roberson hates Korean food and only likes burgers...we weren't to sure how he came to that conclusion but it happened. He said he will take us to go get burgers next time.^^ after the dinner we walked him to the train station and then we had to run home so we weren't late.
Then comes the BIRTHDAY...DAY!!! So cool! Elder Roberson Started the day off by texting the Bishop and telling him it was my birthday and the Bishop in turn texted the entire ward. Also Elder Roberson got me a box of cereal for my birthday and i was excited to open it but disappointed when there wasn't cereal insideㅠㅜ just presents^^
Then the entire day i kept getting calls from members and missionaries wishing me a happy birthday! Also we went with the Office Couple missionaries and our church "property buying" brother and we went apartment hunting. I don't know if i told you this but we are going to move. The only reason we went was to translate for the Korean Brother who was there to help with all the deals and the buying of the houses. Again i freaked with the translating and actually it turned our really well. We got a stinking cool house for stinking cheap and its SOOOO cool. We will move in next month. After words the Korean Brother that was with us bought us all burgers (all koreans are convinced the Elder Roberson loves burgers^^) and he told us that we are was too fun together^^ and he enjoyed it. Then later in the evening we went out to go eat at a delicious Meat House with some members whom invited us to go a couple of weeks before I loved being with them and they even bought me a cake!! I love that family. I asked the daughter if i could see her smart phone and she let us look at it and in return me and elder Roberson took over 10 photos of us on her phone^^ i think you have seen some of them they had me post them on their face book for them^^ Then on Sunday they showed me the comments that dad made on them. Thanks dad.
Speaking of Sunday, It was just as crazy as it always is I kept getting birthday congratulations and one member( a foreigner) gave me and elder Roberson birthday Presents(because elder Roberson's was forever ago and she wouldn't get another chance to give him one) and then her and her Korean husdband gave me the game "Apples to Apples" I was so excited! everyone was supper loving and i could see how strong my actual bond with the ward really was and i could see how much they truly love me^^
Also on Sunday I taught brother Kim again about the plan of salvation. We finished the lesson and he said that as we where talking about it he said he felt that it all seemed familiar and he wants to have the faith and belief that its true.So i committed him to pray about it and he agreed and is working hard on trying to know for himself. Please pray for him that he will get his answer.
but yeah that's the fun filled week of the Eldersons ㅋㅋ
