Well it’s
that time again weekly update whooo!
Not too much this
week, but good enough to talk about...
Hmm let’s see… at the
beginning of the week we had to drop one of our investigators, he was
complete English interest and anytime we got a chance to teach
him it would be in his barber shop and when you teach in a store you always
get interrupted no matter how "in the middle of nowhere"
you think his shop is. Oh well, after that
we decided to focus on our youth investigators we
"had" 5 investigators, now we have two...whooo! Defiantly not
a good. Our one who had accepted baptism but kept canceling the date, sister 이민하 (lee min ha), her mother
said no to church. Then another one of our investigators didn’t come to church
his name is 지홍 (gee hong), we have been meeting him for a while but it seems
like he hasn’t been taking church seriously he just wants to have
"the party life" before he gets baptized. So I’m not sure
about him. Then we had an eternal investigator his name is 김현 (Kim heyon) he has
been coming to church just because he is bored... that's it
he accepted baptism but his parents said "no" and he was waiting one
year to be the right age to sign his own papers. But he wasn’t doing it for the
right reasons and didn't want to be re taught the whole lessons
because he clearly didn't understand them. Nice kid, just no
interest. Lame! But its ok one of our members who is the only one in his family
brought some friends and we are working with them, hopefully something will
happen there. Then we have contacted two referrals that are both for
teaching English, one is female... and the other male. And they live
in two opposite directions. also, they live an hour away both ways...whoo,
fun times here in 교문 but its ok no need to fret we are working to
get them and work hard on them. Yeah that’s about the week sadly we have been
trying to build stronger relations with the ward and make sure they can trust
us. And it seems to be working. Yaaahhh.
So not everything is
going downhill, haha.
