On That Day of Days being St. Valentines Day!

Happy Birthday TANA!!
Well looks like i am the last Sanderson out on the mission...ㅠㅠ I can no longer tell people that i have a cousin serving in Japan right now. But hey i am here forever right??

We found a new investigator this week!! Her name is Sunny. she is a Korean that married an American, moved to Emerica and lived there until her husband died. Then she moved back to Korea and she does not like it as much. she has been working with the Ridings couple for a long time and they even referred he to the missionaries before us but she did not understand why they where there and she dropped the other missionaries. As long as i have been in the area i have herd a lot about her from sister Riding who meets with her on a regular basis, and on how difficult she is. I didn't know if we would ever meet her seeing that we have sisters and that they would most likely be meeting with her. But after making some calls on some old records i saw hers and gave it a shot. Two days later we had an appointment. We took the other two elders and we showed up at her house with Four missionaries and she was surprised but she welcomed us in and almost immediately started talking about the church. In the end we left inviting her to the Valentines party and to church and also with 100,000 won each... we refused it multiple times but she looked like she was getting affended so we took it and gave it to sister Riding to hide it back in her house^^

Then we prepared The Valentines party for our Korean ward and investigators. IT WAS OFF THE HOOK!! It took us all week to work on it but we got it and luckily some members came out^^ Me and elder Flinders came up with idea and we all worked together to put into action. The sisters came up with game ideas and me and elder Flinders made a awesome Photo booth for the Party. Not only that but we worked with the Ridings couple to get some S'mores foods so we could introduce the Koreans to a tasty American treat^^ They Loved it and we got a lot of investigators out and we sat out side around a fire that me and Flinders put together and helped Koreans make S'mores. After that we all ran inside and played a cake walk came. Where you walk around in a circle on some numbers with music. Kinda like musical chairs but if your number gets called you get a cup cake (that me and elder Flinders stayed up the night before making). I was DJ and Elder Flinders was the Photo booth master where as the sisters and other elders did the talking. The Ward relief society came and brought a bunch of snacks, super grateful for them. Sadly we were expecting that our relations with the ward would get better after the party but it seemed to just stay the same... so I'm confused.

During our prep time for Valentines, the English branch assigned splits for us so me and Flinders went on splits with the branch Prez and his 2nd councilor. it was good we visited our potential investigator and then went and did some home teaching^^ and i got to know the branch prez. real well^^ during our prep for Valentines, we went out and gave invites to less-actives. While doing so we found  underneath an underpass, a great place to meet investigators--see pictures.^^
And that's about all of worth here. I am putting together somethings that will focus on the youth of the branches and ward. Towards helping the youth get prepared to get prepared to be a missionary^^

The time is wrapping up but I know i have a lot more left so i will see you then.
I love you all^^

keep the faith
and may the force be with you
