Well this Next year was incredibly awesome^^
Sorry about the short letter i have just felt like a bunch of stuff has been going on all at once bugh. But luckily we had a nice Mexican dinner that same day and it was fantastic!!!! And me and Elder Flinders were able to share a good message about the new years and setting resolutions.
So on New Years we got a call from one of good friends in our district Elder Dewey and he was stuck down in the lowest part of our mission with 3 Koreans...And he was the only American so he asked us to make a doll for him and put it in the place of him...so we partied hard with buff Dewey. We had man night that night- meant eating SUPER SPICY ramyen and Ice Cream and mixing of many soda beverages, and finishing the night off with a Bord game. Ah great New Years^^
AH!!! A New Years Muscular Thing happened on New Years day!! We met with a awesome investigator with the name of "KALEN" he is from Cameroon and is searching for the true gospel and had some questions about the church. Long story short this man has seen and been through many hard times and scary things that have led him to where he is today. We are praying hard that he will realize that this church is true.
We have been trying to focus on the Korean members this transfer but they haven't made it easy for us at all. So we visited our members the Child's our former branch mission leaders house for a dinner they invited us too, sadly they forgot about it but they invited us to a mart cafeteria and we had a good conversation with them. So it turned out really well we thought^^
On Friday, this day typically is meant for planning but i got destroyed with the scriptures... We decided to help out struggling scripture class in the ward. Because only 2 sisters are going and one teaches...so all 4 elders decided to go help our ward members and attend. The hardest part is that the sister that teaches is all over the place and so i understand what she is saying, its just the stuff she teaches is hard to understand. Then right after a Bible basher called and i have dealt with the same guy before and so i grabbed my quad. and went into the library with my companion ready for the fight, and it happened and no good came from it. He would not listen to me inviting him to read and pray about it. Instead he wanted to argueㅠㅠ I hate it. But i helps me know what to study. But to finish off the night we where able to visit one of our lovable families the Maxwells. This family is the cutest and the Father is hilarious. They fed us real steak and gave us at least 5 pounds of chocolate and free haircuts...we are so in debt to them.^^
On Saturday we went to a meat buffet for elder Brianholts 200th day in country...whoopee (going strong mama), then a member invited us out to go play basket ball with him and his friends, we felt we have some potentials coming in^^ then strait after me and Flinders went to the Daivses They are also a great family and they love the missionaries and we love them in return^^ We were glad to be able to chat with them for a bit.
Then Sunday came(BUM BUM BUM). New Year means new time schedule. We now have church from 9am-4pm YAAAAHHHHH and you all thought YOUR CHURCH WAS LONG!! Not only that but i get to attend 3 wards every other Sunday. I LOVE IT. But i feel just like moses did after he saw God face to face. So after that fun a random lady came to the church and the branch prez. brought he into a room with us and we sat down and talked, everyone thought that she was here for the gospel...we where dead wrong. She has had a terrible life and its all thanks to her American Husband, who is a member and we herd it ALL. In the end all we could do was offer her the Gospel and she was not interested at all. So that made me kinda upset based on the fact that i was supposed to be helping and i felt so helpless. After that tragic meeting we had to catch a cab to meet our new branch mission leader with the other missionaries. We had a pretty good dinner and talked of what we will do in the branch it looks like this new mission leader will turn somethings around for the better^^
